Pumpkin Spice Quick Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup                  sugar (200  gram)
  • 1 cup                  pumpkin puree (220 g)   readmore_03_tparent30_twinkles
  • 1/3 cup               vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon         vanilla extract
  • 2                         eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup            bread flour (191 g)
  • 2 teaspoons        baking powder (8 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon       salt
  • 1 teaspoon          ground cinnamon   Cinnamon-Ground-McCormick_transp25
  • 1/4 teaspoon       ground nutmeg     ground_nutmeg_transp60
  • 1/8 teaspoon       ground cloves     ground_cloves_transp28
  • 1/2 cup                chopped nuts (optional)

Directions
1  Grease bread machine pan and kneading blade generously with shortening.
2  Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
3  Select Quick Bread cycle only.  After 3 minutes into cycle, open lid and carefully scrape down sides of pan.  Close lid to continue with cycle.
4  Cool baked bread 10 minutes.  Remove from pan to wire rack, or follow manufacturer’s recommendation.

  • 1/2 cup                         pumpkin puree (220 g)
  • 3 cups                          all-purpose flour/bread flour (375 g)
  • 1/4 cup                         whole wheat flour (30 g)
  • 1/2 cup                         ground nuts (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp                          packed brown sugar (28 g)
  • 2-3 tsp                          pumpkin pie spice   readmore_03_tparent30_twinkles
  • 1-1/2 tsp                       salt
  • 2 Tbsp                          butter, cut in 4 pieces (28 g)
  • 1-1/2 tsp                       fast rise yeast (5 g)
