Lemon Bread
One Pound Loaf
1)
Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- Egg + Milk to make up 1 cup + 5 ml milk
- 1 tbsp Butter (14 g)
- 1/3 cup Lemon curd (75 g)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (45 g)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 289 g Bread Flour
- 1-1/2 tsp Active dry yeast for bread machine
Procedure
1. Place all ingredients in bread pan. Press START.
2. Observe the dough as it kneads. After 5 to 10 minutes, if it appears dry and stiff or if your machine sounds as if it’s straining to knead it, add more liquid 1 tablespoon at a time until dough forms a smooth, soft, pliable ball that is slightly tacky to the touch.
3. After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from the pan, place on cake rack and allow to cool for 1 hour before slicing.

- Kneading 2 (rapid) 30 min
- Rise 1 35 min
- Kneading 3 (rapid) 15 sec
- Rise 2 55 min
- Baking 40 min
- Total time 2:43 hrs

- 1-1/2 tsp Active dry yeast

- Kneading 2 (rapid) 30 min
- Rise 1 30 min
- Kneading 3 (rapid) 15 sec
- Rise 2 55 min
- Baking 40 min
- Total time 2:35 hrs
